مصنوع من الخمر: هذا نبيذ أو بيرة نُزع منه الكحول (يباع بوصف 'خالٍ من الكحول' أو 'منزوع الكحول'). وهو لا يزال مصنوعًا من مشروب مسكر. والخمر لا تطهر إلا إذا تخللت بنفسها، أما نزع الكحول فتغيير يُحدثه الإنسان وليس تحوّلًا طبيعيًا، فلا يجعله مباحًا. وهذا بخلاف النكهة الموصوفة بأنها خالية من الكحول، فإنها ليست مصنوعة من المشروب أصلًا.
