كحول: الكحول (الإيثانول) مذكور ضمن المكوّنات. تعدّ دار الفتوى الكحول نجسًا وتحرّم كل مسكر ولو قليلًا، فالطعام المضاف إليه كحول حرام. وفي مستحضرات التجميل، الكحول المُحوَّر (alcohol denat) وكحول SD حرام أيضًا، اتباعًا لـ halal.ua التي تستبعد كل مادة خام تحتوي على كحول وتذكر 'alcohol denat' في معيارها. ولا يُزيل ذلك شيء، لأن الكحول في المنتج نفسه. أما الكحولات الدهنية كالسيتيل والستياريل فليست إيثانول ولا يشملها ذلك.
